**if you're an ambitious student and you're wondering what to work on
to advance your career, you're asking the wrong question.

work on whatever you're most excited about; if you're ambitious,
your excitement will outweigh the hotness of the field you choose. paul graham**

why curiosity is important

  1. ask better questions - questions enhance your understanding of yourself and the world. the more you know the better your decisions will align with your goals, values, and desired impacts.
  2. navigate uncertainty with confidence - being open to learning leads to a growth mindset, while stubbornness leads to a fixed mindset. adaptability comes from constantly learning.
  3. create authentic connections - curiosity, aka ‘the knowledge emotion,’ helps you connect with others around you from actively listening and asking good questions.
**i have no special talent. i am only passionately curious. albert einstein**
